Thank Senator Chris Murphy for his filibuster

Yesterday morning, at around 11:30 a.m., Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy took the floor of the U.S. Senate, and held it for nearly 15 hours. It was the eighth longest filibuster of all-time, and the first of its kind on the issue of gun violence prevention.

By the time he finished, Republicans in the Senate agreed to vote on background checks and closing the "terror gap."
